The photo on the right of grandpa Ras Gaston standing
in front of the house clearly shows the wind generator propeller turning. It provided the electricity to the battery powered
radio they had. Would't you like to have that old radio, even if it didn't work?

70th Wedding Anniversary - 1963 |
The above two photographs were made in 1963 at Grandpa and Grandma Gaston's 70th wedding anniversary. They were
married January 4, 1893. My Dixieland Band (Dave's Dixie Six) played for the event at the First Methodist Church in
Cranfills Gap, Texas.
