The Clifton Record, my hometown newspaper, ran a story about
my Texaco model in the Wednesday, January 24, 2007 - Vol.112, No.4 edition. This article published in the Clifton Record, entitled "History, Art, Imagination Combine To Create A Toy" By Deborah Mathews, Associate Editor, is no
longer available to be viewed online.
My other web site, the Ras Gaston Farm, family photographs
and model, are located at http://www.norwegianwest.com/gastonfarm. It contains information and old photographs of my grandparents, and photos of the Gaston family, the
farm house and the Gaston model farm house I built in 1989.
My latest web site honors the El Cariso Hot Shots.
I worked on a forest fire fighting crew in Southern California in the summer of 1966. This web site tells of the summer I
experienced in 1966 on the El Cariso Hot Shots, located near Lake Elsinore, California. The URL is
http://www.norwegianwest.com/elcarisohotshots1966. I have been in contact with several of the former El Cariso Hot Shots I worked with that summer. We plan a reunion in the
fall of 2010.
